PS/2 Rack-Mount Flat Panel KVM Console and Console/Switch

Using only 1U of EIA rack space (1.75" high), Sylphit PS/2 rack-mount integrated KVM computer console is designed to interface with PS/2 servers in a space-saving 19" rack-mount applications.

Sylphit PS/2 KVM drawer features a fully functional 105-keys Windows keyboard (including a dedicated numeric keypad), an integrated touch-pad pointing device, and an active TFT LCD flat panel display – protected by anti-glare tempered glass.

Controlling multiple PS/2 servers or interfacing with a stand-alone PS/2 KVM switch at the rack, Sylphit PS/2 features a 19", 17" or 15" laptop-style tilting flat-panel display that requires little pullout to tilt open and – as a result –  hardly protrudes into the aisle space in front of the rack.

Equipped with industrial-grade heavy-duty slide-out rails with depth-adjustable rear mounting support, Sylphit PS/2 KVM drawers can be mounted in any standard 19" 4-post rack available in the market.

SK-Class – A multi-port console/switch (with integrated KVM switch)

Sylphit PS/2 SK-Class models feature a built-in, fully integrated 8- or 16-port PS/2 KVM switch, and are available with either a 19-inch, 17-inch or 15-inch display.
Port expansion is supported via a dedicated cascading port that facilitates the connection of up to seven (7) more levels of KVM switches, to control up to 128 servers.

On-screen-display (OSD) allows assigning names to the attached servers, and selecting them by name.  OSD also provides search-by-name capability.  Alternatively, server selection can be achieved via channel push-buttons, or hot-key keyboard combination.

Sylphit PS/2 SK-Class models have an auto-scan mode for automatic monitoring of attached servers, and a built-in support for eight-character user-password security protection.

Sylphit PS/2 SK-Class models feature eight or 16 special HD15 server-connectors, and ship with eight (8) or sixteen (16) 6-feet integrated (all-in-one) KVM cables (with PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse and VGA video connectors on the server end) to connect servers to the KVM switch. Cables in other lengths are optionally available.

Sylphit PS/2 SK-Class console/switches are available in the following models:

• SK-Models KVM drawers connect to eight (8) or sixteen (16) PS/2 servers; available with 19" or 17" or 15" displays.
• SKW-Models KVM drawers connect to eight (8) or sixteen (16) PS/2 servers, featuring a wide (16:9) 17" display in a small footprint (only 20-inches deep).

S-Class – A single-port console

Sylphit PS/2 S-Class models feature a single PS/2 interface typically used to connect to a stand-alone PS/2 KVM switch, or to one PS/2 computer.

Sylphit PS/2 S-Class models feature one set of industry-standard PS/2 (female) and VGA (female) connectors, and ship with one (1) 6-feet Zip KVM cable with PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse, and VGA video connectors on each end. 3-in-one PS/2 KVM cables, up to 15-feet long, are optionally available.

Sylphit PS/2 S-Class consoles are available in the following models:

• S-Models connect to one PS/2 computer or one PS/2 KVM switch; available with 19" or 17" or 15" displays.  A 15" model is also available with a track-ball mouse (instead of the standard touch-pad).
• SW-Model connects to one PS/2 computer (with audio), or one KVM switch; featuring a wide (16:9) 17" display and two (2) integrated speakers.
• STS-Models connect to one PS/2 computer supporting a touch-screen monitor through a serial RS232 interface; available with 17" or 15" displays.
