Enterprise-class PDU systems to control power of network equipment in IT installations
Managed PDUs can be remotely controlled over IP, or through a serial console-port switch, either locally, out-of-band, through dial-up, or over IP.
Managed power distribution systems offer centralized power control down to individual outlets, remote power cycling capabilities, outlet grouping for redundant power control, and precise reading and control over power load on each circuit.
Depending on the model, managed PDUs allow interfacing directly into a single PDU, or controlling a number of PDUs connected to a centralizing controller, either through a Telnet session or through a browser-based html interface.
Integrated with IP-based KVM switches, a user can remotely access a server AND control its power from within one remote IP session.
