sensorProbe motion detector is a revolutionary safety device that functions as an intruder detector.

Designed to detect human body movement in a protected area, this motion detector has a wide detection angle of 120 degree - more than that of any existing detector. Foolproof detection is available up to a range of 13 yards and is adjustable for less. The time delay of the device is adjustable between 20 seconds and seven minutes. When coupled with a light sensor, the device makes for an excellent nighttime motion detector, avoiding wasteful daytime use.

sensorProbe motion detector uses an intelligent passive infrared (PIR) sensor to detect objects. The PIR sensor is intelligent because it employs the infallible principle that all living creatures give off some form of infrared energy. The detector thus senses rapid changes in temperature within a protected area by monitoring infrared radiation emitted by human bodies.  As such, it is immune to interference from radio waves, sharp sounds or sudden vibrations.

When properly positioned and adjusted, the detector ignores all gradual fluctuations of temperature caused by sunlight, heating and cooling systems. This sort of intelligent processing ensures outstanding stability in performance, and insures against false alarms. Being passive means that the detector doesn’t emit anything and is hence undetectable. It doesn’t penetrate walls or objects and is thereby easier to adjust when compared to microwave sensors.
