RMS244 Server Mounting Kit

Mount a 1U Server onto a 2-Post Rack Supporting its Weight throughout its Entire Depth.

When you need to mount a deep 1U server to a 2-post rack and want to avoid its sagging - Rackit's RMS244 is an innovative rail system that comes to the rescue.

RMS244 is designed to work with 2-post racks such as Rackit's VersaRack, Strandit 85 or Standard Relay Rack, to support the weight of a deep server way beyond the depth of the rack.

RMS244 server mounting kit consist of two horizontal brackets, each being attached to one side of a 2-post rack using two rack-mount ears each, designed to attach to the front and to the back of each upright post.

Note: The rack must have mounting holes on the back side of its uprights.

A ⅜" lip running the length of each bracket at the bottom (protruding towards the opposite side of the rack) creates a virtual shelf on which the server rests.

If the server is fitted with thumb-screws on both ends of its front panel, a #10-32 pre-tapped mounting hole at the front of each bracket can support securing the server.

Whether your 2-post rack is fitted with cage nuts, slip nuts or pre-tapped holes, Rackit's RMS244 is compatible with any 2-post Telco rack that supports mounting holes on both sides of its uprights.

Installation is a snap and can be done with one installer in less than 5 minutes.
